The foreign scientific and pedagogical internship in Poland is over

On May 31, the foreign scientific and pedagogical internship “Peculiarities of Scientific and Pedagogical Activity in Higher Education: Experience of EU Countries”, which was held in cooperation with the Prince Kazimierz Kujawski University of Business in Inowrocław, ended.

The purpose of the internship was to improve the skills and exchange experience of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff, administrative and managerial staff of higher and professional higher education institutions, researchers of scientific organizations in the context of Ukraine’s European integration, modernization of legislation, state regulation, management, structure, academic mobility, quantitative and qualitative composition of the applicant pool, network of institutions, financing system, quality control of education and science.

The speakers of the internship were:

• Radchenko Oleksandr Vitaliiovych – Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Political Geography, Institute of Social Sciences, Gdańsk University (Poland).
• Sayenko Volodymyr Hryhorovych – Doctor of Science in Organization and Management, Professor at the Academy of Applied Sciences – Higher School of Management and Administration in Opole (Poland).
• Vitaliy Omelianenko – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Estonian University of Business and Applied Sciences (Tallinn, Estonia)

The following issues were discussed during the internship:

• EU Common Educational Area and national peculiarities.
• The image of an academic in the EU as a basis for professional growth.
• The system of higher education in Poland and the peculiarities of forming the staff of teachers.
• Academic mobility as a philosophy of life of a scientific and pedagogical worker.
• 1000 and 1 ways to implement a scientific (pedagogical, social, organizational) idea! All about grant support in the EU.
• Requirements for writing theses in Polish higher education institutions and the procedure for checking them for plagiarism.

Each participant received a certificate of participation for 180 hours (6 ECTS).
