Scopus author profile is a unique identifier of a scientist, designed to identify the author. Each author profile in Scopus is a unique record that reflects the publications of this researcher. The profile contains information such as the author’s name, affiliation, research topic, publications, citations and co-authors. Profiles are created automatically, based on metadata from published documents, so Scopus users cannot edit them. However, each registered user has the ability to change their profile.
